We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data will always be treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (i.e. German Data Protection Laws) and this privacy policy.
It is natural to us that we deal with personal data. On this page we explain what personal data is, what information we collect and how we use it within the framework of this website.
Personal data
The legislature describes the term of "personal data" in accordance with § 3 para 1 sentence 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) as:
"Personenbezogene Daten sind Einzelangaben über persönliche oder sachliche Verhältnisse einer bestimmten oder bestimmbaren natürlichen Person (Betroffener)."
Translation:
Personal data are individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable / affected natural person.
Use of personal data
Any collection, processing or use of data must be clearly, transparently and publicly described in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation, which went in effect on the 25th of May 2018.
In the case of websites, the use of personal data, their derivatives and their use must therefore be identified and described.
This website
As part of this website, in general, no personal data collected by the website owner and further processed. There is no login area that performs data processing in a specific way.
A data collection takes place when contacting the owner via the provided contact form. Further information can be found under the point Contact form. (see sub section "Contact Form")
The web tracking system GoogleAnalytics is being used to anonymously collect web usage statistics. (see sub section "GoogleAnalytics")
Other than that, log data from the web server are being stored for a limited time for reasons of IT security. (see sub section protocol logs)
Contact Form
When using the contact form to contact us, your details from the form (company, name, telephone, e-mail, message) will be stored and used to process the request and any subsequent communication. (Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO)
Your request and the associated data remain stored with us until you send us a request for deletion. This does not affect mandatory statutory provisions such as especially retention periods.

Transport Layer Encryption (HTTPS / SSL)
In generally, modern browsers prefer https websites to non-encrypted http websites. This website is also offered by such a transport encryption (https). This can be reached at https://www.klein-daemmstoffe.de and enables a secure form of website browsing.
In modern browsers, you can see that they have accessed the web page over an encrypted connection when there is a green icon (such as a lock) to the left or right of the URL line. Some browsers additionally mark this symbol with the word "safe".
With activated SSL encryption, the transmitted data can not be read by third parties.
Log Data / Server Log Files
When you access this website, your browser sends a series of technical data that is logged. We log your IP address, your browser ID, the respective domain and name of the retrieved file, as well as the success, date and time of retrieval in a self-overwritten log file. This log file is stored for a period of 52 weeks for IT security reasons.
All data in the log files are not directly related to personal information and will never be merged with other personal information. We log this data solely for IT security reasons and to monitor system stability. The log data is used exclusively for internal purposes, will never be forwarded to third parties and stored for a maximum of seven days and then deleted.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Use is made on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f. DSGVO. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website such as
- Browser type / version
- used operating system
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Time of the server request
are usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. We have also extended the code "anonymizeIP" on this website to Google Analytics. This guarantees the masking of your IP address so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to the full extent.

Google Universal Analytics
We are using the tool Google Analytics variant "Universal-Analytics". It is a specification for a process branch of Goole Analytics, at which pseudonymic user IDs across different devices of a person are being used to achive a "Cross-Device-Tracking".
Google Maps
Embedded maps are being provided by "Google Maps" by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The data processed there may include location data and IP addresses of the users. (see setting of the mobile terminal). Please be aware that Google is able to store and process your ip adress, your website visit to our site and the stated location at the Google Maps service. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are being stored by your browser on your computer, so that website can remember information that they have already given them. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly and effective.

Data processing by direct contact

This data will never be further automatically processed or made available to third parties. We use those data exclusively to process your specific request or to contact you.
We would also like to inform you that the data transmission in the Internet (for example in communication via e-mail) may have security holes and thus a complete protection of the data from the access of third parties is not possible.
Billing Details
Depending on the matter of the contact with you and the conclusion of a contract, we are obliged under German tax law to keep all necessary, financially relevant documents for 10 years. These documents may contain, depending on the customer and contract, personal data such as name, address, e-mail address.
