Cable fire stop S90 / fire protection mortar TROMEX® or fire protection

For effective and professional cable penetration sealing, we use the certified fire protection technology from Staudt. The mortar and putty seals serve as reliable fire protection. They can be used for all types of electrical cables, including those in communications technology.

Cable penetration seal with fire resistance class S90

The cable penetration seal from Brandschutz Staudt is certified according to DIN 4102‑9 and therefore meets the highest standards in fire protection technology. It has been assigned to fire resistance class S90 and consequently maintains its function for 90 minutes in the event of a fire.
For solid penetration seals, you can choose between mortar and putty, both of which have been tested and approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) according to the specifications No. Z‑19.15‑800 and Z‑19.15‑195.

TROMEX® fire protection mortar

S90 universal use cable fire stop. TROMEX fire protection mortar is stirred without adding any additives except for water. For equipping the reserve space with post-installation wedges NIK (alternatively fire protection cushions).

Fire protection putty TYPE FTS-K

S90 cable fire stop for use in areas with high cleanliness requirements. The fire protection putty is supplied in a mouldable consistency ready to use. Equipping the reserves spaces with post-installation wedges UK (Alternative fire cushions).

Fire protection cushions

S90 separation of empty and reserve openings that are not yet occupied by cables, cuboid shaped solid form. Simple handling, laying without mortar or putty.

Fire protection putty K

Putty cartridges preferably to separate individual cable recesses, for post-installation or difficult to access areas.

Electrical installation channels set

S90 separation with Staudt fire protection putty and arrangement of post-installation wedges if necessary.

The additional insulation layer: fire protection putty

Fire protection putties are used for hard‑to‑reach areas or for retrofit installations. They are also suitable for environments with high cleanliness requirements. The fire protection putty seals remaining openings and, in combination with plugs or shaped blocks, functions as an insulating layer - it foams up when exposed to heat and thus prevents the penetration of smoke and flames.
With us, you receive the sealing compound in a ready‑to‑use form: a malleable consistency for easy application.

Fire protection for maximum safety

Fire protection cushions are among the additional components used in cable penetration sealing and fire protection. They have a solid, brick‑like shape and can be installed easily without mortar or putty. The various products can also be combined exceptionally well. For example, you can install a fire protection cushion and then seal uncovered areas with mortar or putty.
